Drs. Cayelan Carey and Quinn Thomas, Co-Directors of Virginia-Tech’s Center for Ecosystem Forecasting, will be joining us on Friday, January 3rd from 3:00 – 4:30pm to talk about the data generated by LSPA’s water quality buoy. The long-term data set generated by the buoy on Lake Sunapee is used by ecosystem scientists across the world for education and research to understand how lakes are changing over time. Carey and Thomas will share how they are using Sunapee buoy data in automated workflows to predict lake water quality like we do the weather.
